Principal’s Report-- Held, Principal in Attendance

Operations

• CSCA meetings to be held on second Thursday of each month for rest of school year.
• Meeting minutes to be reviewed and approved at beginning of each meeting.

Upcoming Events

Night At The Rep.

• Margaret C-I to contact Act Theater, parking may be a problem
• Book It is doing Great Expectations Feb 8 to March 6th.  Margaret & Julie to check with their contacts at Book It.

Ideas For Possible Future Events

Possible Event with Opera

• Margaret C-I contacted by Opera re: possible event with Center School

Possible Event with Art Gallery

• Wyn contacted about having students come in and meet the artists

Possible Baby Shower Event

• Community building event
• Bring baby gifts to be donated to Child Haven

After School Activities/School Of Rock

• Have had difficulty getting students to “buy in”  
• Students have concerns about cost limiting participation
• Can we have groups come in and advertise and gauge student interest?
• An issue for School of Rock is where to store instruments

Business

Mini Grant application

• Rachel needs 10 lab coats, $200 or less.  
• Email approval.

Mother Earth

• Should administration be changed to a CSCA responsibility?  
• Must  be administrated by teachers.  
• Margaret to check with Wyn & Britta to clarify that their approval is required in writing.

Meeting Minutes Review and Approval

• Sept. 1, 2010 meeting minutes--Audrey Kaplan
• Motion by Julie Vergeront, Seconded by Margaret C-I.  Approved as presented.

Arts E-News

• Center does not submit for the Arts E-News and we should.  
• Photograph & writing should be done by the teacher.  
• Getting this done would be easier with a staff liason to the CSCA (this should be revisited again as a possibility).
